Ljuskronor  

Tiden från det sena 1700 talet fram till art nouveau är en period vars form och arkitektur består av en stram grundform som man har tillåtit sig att utsmycka. Har allt sedan jag som barn älskade att besöka slott runt om i Sverige intresserat mig för idén med praktföremål. Stora föremål som med sin skönhet och fantasirikedom i första hand var till för att imponera och underhålla. I dessa arbeten framhävs glasets egen värdeladdning som dyrbart och status fyllt. Ända sedan min examensutställning på Konstfack 1994 har ljuskronan varit central i mitt arbete.

Chandeliers

The period from the late 18th century to Art Nouveau is a period whose form and architecture consist of a strict basic form that has been allowed to be decorated. Ever since I loved visiting castles around Sweden as a child, I have been interested in the idea of ​​magnificent objects. Large objects that, with their beauty and wealth of imagination, were primarily intended to impress and entertain. In these works, the glass's own value charge is emphasized as precious and filled with status. Ever since my graduation exhibition at Konstfack in 1994, the chandelier has been central to my work.
